Students, parents and teachers will gather at Copenhagen’s University Pointe next weekend to mark the start of the new school day for a “new generation”.
The university, which has long been a focus of criticism for the way it runs its schools, announced on Monday that its main campus will be open on Sunday and that the new year will be the “new day”.
Students will go to school in the new campus, known as The University, which will house new classrooms and classrooms with extra desks.
“It is a new day for us,” university president Dag De Bruin said on Monday.
“I am sure that the students will find it exciting and stimulating.”
