FSU University of America is seeking more than 350 freshmen to become its first freshmen class in the United States since the school reopened in 2011.
The school announced Wednesday that the class of 2019 is expected to be officially enrolled in October, with the first class of freshmen officially announced next week.FSU will welcome a large contingent of students from all backgrounds and cultures to the campus, which has seen some of the largest increases in enrollment since opening its doors in 2011 as the school expanded its medical school.
FSU students will be encouraged to explore other opportunities, including the medical school, the university said in a statement.
The students are expected to receive their diplomas and will begin classes in early 2018, with their first classes in the fall of 2019.
FSOU is also working to recruit faculty members from outside the school and other institutions, it said.FSOU will also open its first health and wellness program and launch a research partnership with the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the school said.
